I miss Grandma...

I miss her phone calls and her genuine caring, I miss listening to her sing at church, I miss her hugs, I miss the way everyone behaved when she was around (the kids anyway, not so sure about the adults), I miss her lemonade and her cookie jar, the way she loved babies, I miss her old-fashioned manners, her dedication to her hair curlers, her individuality, her quiet laugh and her sweet smile. Farewell to Winston

We were able to meet up with some of the family to say goodbye to Winston Jordan before he headed out on his mission to Seattle. We are so excited for him and had such a good time seeing each other over some good food. I'm sure Winston would appreciate some mail and we hope someone can send us his address so that we can all support Winston over these next two years.

Another baby...

Since I posted about my cousin's baby I figured I'd better post here about my own. My husband, Bryan and I had a little girl on June 9th 2008. Her name is Sara Louise Leonard and she was born at 12:15 p.m. and weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 inches long. She's already grown a bunch and her big brother is starting to get used to her and is not throwing as many jealousy fits.In the hospital...

And now...

Leslie and John Mills had a baby.

Here is my new granddaughter, held by my daughter Leslie. It's her first (at age 38). She did good.

She's here! Grace Lauren Mills, with proud mother Leslie, born 7/21/2008 at 6:48 pm. She came in at 6 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches. Mother and child are both doing great, thanks to everyone for all your kindness and support!
